Smith & Nephew ACTICOAT 7 dressings are silver antimicrobial dressings that are made with a nanocrystalline coating consisting of pure silver. This provides an antimicrobial barrier with 30 minutes. An ACTICOAT 7 dressing can be sustainly release silver and be left on for up to 7 days. ACTICOAT 7 can be cut to any shape and size to wrap all body parts. Helps reduce infection is all wound types. INDICATIONS
- ACTICOAT 7 Antimicrobial Barrier Dressing is an effective barrier to bacterial penetration. The barrier function of the dressing may help reduce infection in partial and full thickness wounds including decubitus ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first- and second-degree burns, and donor sites. ACTICOAT 7 dressings may be used over debrided and grafted partial thickness wounds.
