Biatain Alginate Dressing is a calcium alginate dressing that consists of 85% calcium alginate and 15% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). Biatain, formerly known as SeaSorb Soft, is converts to a soft, cohesive gel to provide an optimal moist wound healing environment. Biatain Alginate is highly absorbent making it ideal for moderate to heavy exuding wounds of any size, shape and depth. This calcium alginate dressing can be cut to size and shape, and it will conform to the wound bed which is important for the wound healing process. Available in 4 sizes.
