ReliaMed Silver Alginate Dressings feature controlled silver ion release that provides antimicrobial protection for up to 14 days. This silver alginate wound dressing is a blend of calcium alginate and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) which provides gelling and wet strength for one-piece, non-traumatic removal. The alginate dressing with silver is highly absorbent and wicks fluid vertically into the dressing. Ideal for post-operative wounds, trauma wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft and donor sites. The silver reduces odor primarily caused by bacteria.
