Kendall Calcium Alginate Dressings, by Covidien (Formerly Curasorb)
Kendall Calcium Alginate Dressings are formerly known as Curasorb Calcium Alginate Dressings. Kendall/Curasorb Calcium Alginate Dressings can absorb about 20 times their weight in wound exudate. These dressings donate calcium to the wound and removes sodium which helps regulate the wound bed. They help prevent macerations of periwound. Available in 6 sizes: 12" Rope (# 9231), 2" x 2" (# 9232), 4" x 4" (# 9233), 4" x 5.5" (# 9240), 4" x 8" (# 9238), and 6" x 10" (# 9239).
