JOBST Comprifore Compression Systems provide safe and effective, sustained graduated compression of 40mmHg for the treatment of venous leg ulcers. Comprifore comes in both 4-layer and 3-layer (Lite) systems. The four layers include a pad bandage, light bandage, long-stretch compression bandage, and a cohesive bandage. Comprifore Lite is the 3-layer system that includes everything except the long-stretch compression layer. The 4-layer system is ideal for ankle circumferences of 7 to 10 inches. The Lite 3-layer version is ideal for those with smaller ankles or lower ABI. Both JOBST Comprifore dressings are available in a latex free version for those sensitive to latex. Both systems also include the Cutimed Sorbact WCL (Wound Contact Layer). The Comprifore compression dressing provides sustained compression for up to 7 days.
