Description

The FLA Orthopedics ProLite Wrist Brace with Abducted Thumb is recommended when the wrist or thumb must be immobilized. Indicated for Advanced Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendinitis or injuries such as sprains of the MCP Joint, or severe Wrist Sprains. May also be used by people with cumulative trauma disorders of the thumb and wrist. The patented design prevents flexion and extension of the wrist while also protecting the thumb from impact or shock. This wrist and thumb immobilizer is made of a foam material that is breathable and lightweight with no seams or pressure points around the thumb joint. Latex free. Select Size and Right or Left Wrist.

BENEFITS:
Recommended when immobilization of the wrist and/or thumb is needed. Semi-rigid Thumb Spica portion is contoured to provide intimate support, immobilization and thumb abduction. The unique design of the foam spica protects the thumb from impact or shock without any uncomfortable binding or stitch seams.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

Metal support stays limit flexion and extension
Semi-rigid thumb spica portion

HOW TO APPLY:
Unfasten closures. Pull brace over hand ensuring wide stay is on palm side of hand and the semi-rigid spica runs parallel to the thumb. The molded portion of the spica should fit around the base of the thumb. Using free hand, close the loop lock straps starting at the bottom. Close the top strap around the thumb. Readjust if necessary.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Fasten closures. Hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Wrap in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Air dry away from heat. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.
