Salk's CareFor™ Ultra Odor-Control Underpad is a fresh solution to the problem of urine odor. This high quality, waterproof mattress pad protector stops odors and kills odor-causing germs. Care-For Ultra Underpads with HaloShield coating kill 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria within 10 minutes of contact. The quilted design and three layer construction will not slip, ball or shift. The PVC/polyester back sheet is totally waterproof and provides a non-slip surface. Saves money over disposable underpads (chuxs). Washable. White with beige backing. The CareFor™ Ultra Underpad is a major development in antimicrobial protection that eliminates odor, embarrassment and hassle. The germ and odor-killing power of the reusable underpad is renewed with every wash in chlorine bleach.
How it works:
During laundering, the special HaloShield coating crabs the chlorine molecules and anchors them to its surface. HaloShield binds with the chlorine molecules in a "one to one" relationship. Now fully charged, the HaloShield coating holds enough chlorine to kill 99.9% of all odor-causing bacteria within 10 minutes.
100% brushed polyester quilted to highly absorbent poly/rayon soaker. Waterproof backing is PVC coated polyester. Entire pad bound with waterproof binding.
