3M Tegaderm Superabsorber Dressing absorbs and retains exudatein the dressing minimizing the risk of maceration of the wound edges even under compression. Tegaderm Superabsorber removes exudate away from the skin surface through rapid, vertical wicking traping the wound fluid and wound fluid components away from the wound. Superabsorbent sodium polyacrylate gelling polymers retain exudate even under compression. It has protective backing that helps prevent strike through and protects clothing and bandages from contamination.
