The NEW Optifoam Gentle Silicone Faced Dressings have a super absorbent core that absorbs exudate, converts it into a gel and locks it away. They are ideal for heavy exudate compared to the original Optifoam Gentle that absorbs moderate exudate. Optifoam Gentle Silicone Faced dressings have a five layer design that increases performance. The foam pad itself is silicone faced. Optifoam Gentle has a waterproof outer layer that protects the wound and helps keep bacteria out. It also has a low friction and shear outer layer. Optifoam Gentle Foam dressings may be left in place for up to 7 days. Available in non-adhesive or with a silicone adhesive border. The Non-Adhesive version can be cut to size. 4 sizes available. Latex Free!
