AEGIS CHG Impregnated Foam Disc is a hydrophilic foam disc impregnated with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG). AEGIS absorbs exudate and releases CHG for up to seven days. This helps shield the catheter insertion site, while the CHG inhibits or kills bacteria on the dressing's surface. It helps reduce the risk factors associated with CLABSI. The radial slit allows for easy placement around the catheter or drain site. Each disc is 1" in diameter. Choose between a 4mm or 7mm hole.
